Rates are calculated on the basis of double occupancy; same rate applies to 1 or 2 guests.

Rates include the following features:

> flexibility to pay at the time of booking or at checkin;

> flexibility to cancel at no charge up to 3 days prior to arrival date.

Thursday and Sunday rates adopt week-end rate when the following day is a holiday.

Rates can be modified without warning. However, changes to rates don't affect existing bookings.

NON-REFUNDABLE RATE

A non-refundable rate, lower than the regular rate, is available upon request for stays of three nights or more. Contact us by phone (1-819-918-0024) or by email (info@aubergetom.com) to take advantage of the non-refundable rate.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS

Only the Outaouais Suite allows for additional people beyond two : 3rd person and 4th person: additional cost of $60/night plus GST and QST. To reserve the Outaouais Suite for 3 or 4 people, please contact us at 819-918-0024.

BOOKING ROOMS KINGSMERE AND MEECH TOGETHER

When rooms Kingsmere and Meech are booked together, the per night rate is reduced by $20 per room per night. Please make a booking by phone (819-918-0024) and not online.

BREAKFAST 

Rates do not include breakfast. Breakfast must be added at the time of booking, either online or by phone. 

Three breakfast options are offered: three-course gourmet, continental and a la carte. The three-course gourmet is $35 per person and the continental is $25 per person. 

Taxes and gratuities are extra.

In addition to breakfast, we offer other meals and packages that can be added to your booking.

QUEBEC ACCOMMODATION TAX

A 3.5% Quebec Accommodation Tax (QAT) is applied against the room rate. Rates displayed besides each room when you book online include the QAT.

FEDERAL AND PROVINCIAL TAXES

Federal (GST 5%) and provincial (QST 9.975%) taxes are extra and applied at the end of the booking process. The final cost of booking includes all three taxes.

ONE-NIGHT STAYS 

Between September and June, 1-night stays are permitted from Sunday to Thursday for Gatineau room and Outaouais Suite, and everyday for Kingsmere and Meech rooms.

TWO-NIGHT MINIMUM STAYS DURING WEEKENDS*

Between September and June, Gatineau and Outaouais Suite rooms must be booked for a minimum of 2 nights on weekends (Friday and Saturday). 

TWO-NIGHT MINIMUM STAYS DURING HIGH SEASON*

Between the end of June and the beginning of September, all rooms must be booked for a minimum of 2 nights. 

*Should you want to book for just one night, check with us first, for we might have one-night stays available some week-ends and during high season.

Cancellation UNTIL 3 p.m., 3 days before arrival: no charge or total refund if booked online

Cancellation AFTER 3 p.m., 3 days before arrival: 100% charge or no refund if booked online

Important note: Because we are a small 4-bedroom establishment, our cancellation policy is strictly applied, whatever the reason for the cancelation. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance.

Q. Is breakfast included in the rate?

A. As of March 17, 2023, breakfast is no longer included in the rate. Guests have now the possibility to add breakfast -or not- to their booking, and choose between three breakfast options. Guests traveling alone also benefit from this since they can now pay for one single breakfast instead of two by default.

Q. Is it possible to book only one night during the weekend?

A. Yes. Between September and June, the Kingsmere and Meech rooms are the only ones open for one-night stays on weekends. However, it is not possible to book these rooms for a one-night stay on a three-day weekend where Monday is a holiday. In this case, the minimum stay is two days.

Q. At what time of the year are there restrictions on minimum stays?

A. Between the end of June and the beginning of September, rooms must be booked for a 2-night minimum stay. Please note that we rarely accept 1-night stays during peak season and when we do, it is to fill a gap between two longer bookings.

Q. How is the Quebec Accommodation Tax calculated?

A. The Quebec Accommodation Tax of 3.5 % must be calculated on the nightly rate without the breakfast. However, OTA's don't bother separating the two values and calculate the QAT on the nightly rate as a whole. When you book directly with a tourist accommodation, you pay the QAT as required, not a penny more.
